Our mission

 

Aidan Allman-Cooper is a special education teacher, advocate, and community leader dedicated to empowering students and families across New Jersey. He graduated summa cum laude from Kean University with a B.A. in History Education and has since built a career centered on equitable access, student-centered support, and compassionate educational guidance.

Aidan is the Founder and President of SECA Organization LLC, where he provides individualized IEP and 504 consulting, mediation services, transition-planning support, family advocacy, crisis management, and unique situations. Through SECA’s pro bono clinic, he offers free services to qualifying families, reflecting his deep commitment to equity and meaningful representation. His advocacy is grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience, and he collaborates regularly with parents, legal teams, and districts to ensure compliance with IDEA and Section 504.

In addition to SECA, Aidan works as a teacher at a private school for students with disabilities and is a licensed teacher. Aidan holds multiple New Jersey teaching certifications, including:

  • K–12 Social Studies Teacher
     
  • Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD), K–12
     
  • Elementary School Teacher, Grades K–6
     
  • Supplemental Instruction in Reading & Mathematics, Grades K–8
     
  • Middle School Specializations: Social Studies (5–8) and Humanities (5–8
     

Aidan is also a dynamic speaker and engaging presenter, frequently offering workshops and professional development on special education, advocacy, human rights, and neurodiversity.

In statewide leadership, Aidan serves as Co–Vice President of Programs for the New Jersey Association for Gifted Children (NJAGC), where he co-chairs the Programs Committee, contributes to strategic planning, and supports the development of inclusive gifted education practices. His work elevates access and awareness for both gifted and twice-exceptional learners.

Aidan’s contributions have been recognized through numerous honors, including the Outstanding Student Human Rights Activist of the Year Award from Kean University, the Superhero Award for Autism Advocacy from The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New Jersey , and inclusion in Kean University’s human-rights mural installation. He is also the co-author of This is Autism, an Amazon #1 best-selling collaborative work amplifying authentic voices from the Autism community. Across all roles, Aidan remains committed to dignity, inclusion, mentorship, and empowering students and families to thrive in every educational environment.
